   Our research project is about teens texting while driving. We found that using a cell phone while driving is equal to driving drunk.
   Research says that 8 out of 10 crashes happen because of distracted driving including cell phones. Also, tests have shown that texting while driving impairs the driver's abilities to focus on the road.
   Our Innovative Solution is for teens and their parents in the U.S. to install into the car so the teenagers cannot talk on the phone or text when they are driving. The car sends out a signal that shuts off the phone when the wheels are spinning.
